So I eventually started writing again and have a new blog. In hindsight, I should have continued to write here, but anyhoo, the new blog is done.
Way back when I had my Bosom Buddies blog, I was very active and it was all about my readers and numbers. It was a great fundraising tool as well. That was around 20 years ago!
Then I did this blog when I was supposed to move to Singapore, and now I have a new one. My current blog Everywhere but Nowhere is more about a record for my children. And if no one ever reads it, then so be it.
A quick update. Kids are now 21, 23 and 29. Sofes lives and studies in the Netherlands, Rebeka lives and studies in the UK, and Daniel lives and works in Sweden. Gary and I live in Haarlem in the Netherlands.
Daniel has met his forever person, Julia, and my little grandson is due in early May. I am going to be a grandmother and Gary an Opa!
My father passed away 8 years ago at just 68 from pancreatic cancer. Our Pops. My mom and everyone's Mimi passed away 4 months ago. I am currently nursing a broken, grieving heart. I am very sad she will not meet little boy but she did know about him and knew the baby was a boy. His Mimi.
Our 4 beloved dogs Zara, Ella, Paulie and Goose have all crossed over the rainbow bridge. We have a bipolar Jack Russell dog, called Cooper, who is a sweetheart at home and a nightmare on a walk
And that's a very quick summary of life as I know it. The only constant is change.
